Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics, a tech-enabled pediatrician-led medical group, is seeking a People Operations Specialist based in Nashville, TN, in a hybrid role. You will manage HRIS, payroll, benefits, and HR operations to keep our people data accurate and compliant.

You will coordinate onboarding and offboarding, respond to employee inquiries, and support a wide range of HR programs. The role requires a degree in HR or related field and 2+ years of HR experience, with strong Excel skills and a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, or a related field.
Experience supporting payroll processing or serving as payroll backup preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer the HRIS to ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the employee lifecycle.
Generate recurring and ad hoc HR, payroll, and workforce reports and dashboards and perform routine data audits.
Troubleshoot HRIS issues and support system enhancements, testing, integrations, documentation, and process improvements.
Serve as the primary backup for payroll processing, including payroll preparation, validation, audits, adjustments, off-cycle payments, and year-end activities.
Maintain payroll records and partner with Finance, managers, and employees to resolve payroll questions and discrepancies.
Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle transactions, including employment documentation and HRIS updates.
