Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR administration, or HR coordination.
• Hands-on experience with I-9/E-Verify administration and employee recordkeeping.
• Working knowledge of timekeeping systems and California wage-and-hour basics.
• HRIS experience; Rippling experience is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with staffing agencies is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with high-volume work.
• Clear, friendly communicator who can support employees at every level.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end onboarding for hourly new hires: offer-to-start handoffs, background checks, new hire paperwork, orientation logistics, badges/equipment coordination.
• Own I-9/E-Verify completion, reverification, and recordkeeping with audit-ready files at all times.
• Execute offboarding, including final pay coordination per California timing requirements and exit documentation.
• Administer daily timekeeping for hourly workforce with timecard review and payroll-ready approvals.
• Monitor meal/rest period and overtime flags; collaborate with managers to resolve issues and escalate patterns.
• Track PTO and sick leave accruals, balances, and adjustments for hourly employees.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records; process HRIS transactions with high data accuracy.
• Coordinate immigration operations with counsel; track visa expirations and work authorizations.
