Job summary

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is seeking a People Operations Analyst I to execute core HR workflows, maintain accurate employee data, and support reporting and compliance under the Senior People Operations leader.

You will handle onboarding through offboarding, HRIS data management, and routine inquiries, contributing to a reliable employee experience and data integrity in a hybrid work setting based in San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on professional experience in Human Resources or People Operations

Responsibilities

• Independently execute standardized HR workflows (onboarding, job changes, offboarding) in accordance with SOPs
• Complete tasks accurately, on time, and with attention to detail
• Apply established processes and HR knowledge to routine situations and escalated issues or exceptions when appropriate
• Support consistency and reliability across People Ops processes
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
• Generate standard reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, benefits) if applicable
• Flag inconsistencies or errors for review
