Job summary

Datasnipper is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own AMER processes, including employee lifecycle, HRIS data accuracy, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance. You’ll serve as first point of contact for employees and managers across US, Mexico, Brazil, collaborating with global teams.

You will support performance cycles, hiring logistics, office moves, and cross-regional projects, acting as a culture champion while leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in People Operations / HR Ops, ideally with some exposure to multi-country or global People processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with payroll processes is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a track record of spotting and fixing process inefficiencies.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple recurring workstreams at once.
• Clear communicator who builds trust easily with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute recurring People Ops processes for AMER locations, including employee lifecycle administration, HRIS data accuracy, and documentation (onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance)
• Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers in AMER on day-to-day People-related questions
• Partner closely with the People Team on performance cycles, support hiring logistics and other People Team initiatives
• Support the NY office move, coordinating logistics and communications alongside the broader project team
• Collaborate with the Global People Team, Finance, and IT on cross-regional processes and projects
• Act as backup for the Netherlands People Ops processes (including running payroll) when the primary owner is unavailable
• Identify and implement improvements to current People Ops systems and process flows to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Leverage AI tools to improve how you work: drafting communications, summarizing data, building templates, streamlining repetitive tasks, and surfacing insights faster.
