Via is seeking a hands-on Regional Manager of People Operations in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on HR policy implementation, employee support, compliance, and real-time issue resolution within a one-team culture.

This 5‑day in‑person position involves end‑to‑end lifecycle ownership, claims management, payroll support, benefits administration, and active recruiting collaboration with central HR teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of HR operations, employee relations, or talent acquisition.
• Experience with unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.
• Based in Sioux Falls, SD, with in-person work 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, off-boarding, pre-employment requirements, and documentation.
• Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims for compliance.
• Serve as employee advocate, handle inquiries and investigations.
• Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Support payroll processes and administer benefits including open enrollment.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance.
• Partner on recruiting, including interviews and pre-hire screenings.
• Lead sensitive employee relations matters including terminations.
• Represent the company at job fairs and community events.
• Collaborate with local partners and vendors; align with central HR teams.
