Job summary

Via is seeking a People Operations Regional Manager in Fort Worth to oversee HR processes, compliance, and employee support, fostering a positive workplace culture. This hands-on, in-person role focuses on onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, payroll, and union considerations, with occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR operations, employee relations, or talent acquisition.
• Experience with unionized employees and collective bargaining agreements.
• Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, pre-employment requirements, and documentation.
• Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, ensuring timely processing and compliance.
• Serve as a trusted employee advocate, providing day-to-day support, handling inquiries and investigations, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives to enhance overall employee experience.
• Support payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance, administer employee benefits, including open enrollment, education, and support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner on recruiting efforts, including interviews, offer processes, and pre-hire screenings.
• Lead sensitive employee relations matters, including terminations and required documentation.
• Represent the company externally at job fairs and community events to attract talent and build brand awareness.
• Act as a key liaison with local partners and vendors, supporting operational needs and strengthening relationships.
• Collaborate with central HR teams to align on best practices and drive process improvements.
