Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and coordinate HR activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations while supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits, safety, training and development across the organization.

You will collaborate with leadership to nurture our unique family values, maintain accurate personnel records, supervise payroll coordination, oversee labor statistics reporting, and manage policy updates and employee relations

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR in a U.S. company.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA and related laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and select employees for vacancies.
• Conduct new employee orientations to ensure onboarding success.
• Counsel, review and train employees; document appropriately.
• Handle disciplinary actions per company policy.
• Maintain personnel handbook and policies; ensure compliance.
• Ensure wage compliance and coordinate payroll.
• Prepare Labor Statistics and regulatory reports.
• Process benefit plan documentation and enrollments.
• Oversee safety training and compliance activities.
