Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an HR Administrator to execute end-to-end workforce lifecycle processes, from preboarding through offboarding, ensuring compliance and an accurate employee experience. The role collaborates with COEs and HR partners to maintain data integrity and smooth operations.

The position supports recruiting operations, HR administration, benefits and leave administration, and employee support services, with focus on timely responses and precise documentation across all HR systems.

Qualifications

• Foundational HR operations knowledge covering onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Basic understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements (I-9, FMLA, record retention).
• Familiarity with HCM management systems and HR admin practices.

Responsibilities

• Support preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
• Ensure Day 1 readiness for new hires.
• Process employee changes (transfers, terminations).
• Manage requisition intake and job postings.
• Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and communications with candidates.
• Support offer preparation and delivery.
• Administer: Non-DOT drug & alcohol testing; I-9 verification and records management.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and enter data in the HCM system.
• Support payroll and onboarding system transactions.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Process PTO audits and leave types (FMLA, ADA).
• Support accommodations and return-to-work coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors for testing, benefits, and services.
• Process reimbursements and billing activities.
• Manage requests via ticketing systems.
• Provide timely, professional responses to employees and managers.
• Represent the organization at career fairs and events.
