Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR activities across locations in Minneapolis, MN. The role requires strong HR foundations and proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and labor law functions to support a growing organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will manage onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations while ensuring policy compliance and effective HR system use.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
• Completion of background checks as required by state and company.
• Associates degree in HR, business management or related field.
• 2+ years experience in HR.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR processes for assigned locations, including pre-hire, onboarding, benefits, and performance management.
• Collaborate with leadership on talent strategy, recruiting, retention and succession planning.
• Provide guidance on sensitive HR issues and administer routine tasks in delicate circumstances.
• Oversee new employee onboarding and coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
