Atoms is seeking a seasoned People Operations leader to own the employee lifecycle end-to-end, lead a Center of Excellence and a shared services team, and drive governance across HR processes. The role partners with Payroll and focuses on automation and scalable, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in People Ops, experience supporting diverse populations, and a track record of building efficient, metrics-driven operations in fast-growing environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of People Operations experience including leadership of core People Ops and a shared services or HR ops delivery team.
• Experience supporting frontline, corporate, and executive populations across locations, entities, or countries.
• Experience with scalable, mature operations in large orgs and in high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee lifecycle end-to-end: onboarding, changes, promotions, data management, and offboarding.
• Lead a People Operations Center of Excellence and a shared services team delivering high-volume employee support with clear SLA and CSAT targets.
• Design, improve, and govern processes including I-9, background checks, benefits service delivery, workforce compliance, and audits.
• Partner with Payroll as it integrates into the People organization, with potential to expand ownership over time.
• Modernize HRIS capabilities (Workday) and build automation across the employee lifecycle.
• Redesign processes to support doubling headcount and establish a metrics-driven operating rhythm.
