Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress. We are seeking a senior People Operations leader to own the employee lifecycle end-to-end and drive process excellence across payroll, benefits, compliance and HR systems.

You will lead a People Operations Center of Excellence and a shared services team, partnering with payroll and driving automation of Workday-based workflows as the organization scales.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of People Operations experience, including leadership of core People Operations and a shared services or HR operations delivery team.
• Experience supporting frontline, corporate, and executive populations across multiple locations, entities, or countries.
• Depth in HRIS—Workday preferred—automation, and building efficient, metrics-driven operations.
• Led offshore or shared services delivery teams. Experience with captive offshore teams and payroll operations are strong pluses.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee lifecycle end-to-end—from onboarding through changes, promotions, data management, and offboarding.
• Lead a People Operations Center of Excellence and a shared services team delivering high-volume employee support with clear SLA and CSAT targets.
• Design, improve, and govern critical processes spanning background checks, benefits service delivery, workforce compliance, and audits.
• Partner on payroll integration and potential to expand direct ownership over time.
• Modernize HRIS capabilities, particularly Workday, and automate efficiency across the lifecycle.
• Redesign processes to scale from smaller to larger headcounts with a data-driven operating rhythm.
