Forus is seeking a People Operations professional to build scalable systems, programs, and processes that power our team in New York. You’ll own onboarding, compensation, benefits, compliance, performance, and culture, and partner with leaders to scale through high volume.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR generalist in high-volume, early-career workforces.
• Experience with large non-exempt, W-2 populations.
• Proven track record scaling HR during growth.
• Strong employee relations handling.
• Compliance with wage-hour and state laws.
• Experience enabling managers.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own full HR lifecycle: onboarding to exit.
• Scale systems and processes for high-volume hiring and operations.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Build manager enablement programs and coaching resources.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll and headcount planning.
