Job summary

Aon is seeking a North America People Operations Leader to own HR operations across the region. This hybrid role leads teams, processes, and platforms to ensure data-driven HR delivery at scale, including hiring, benefits, and employee relations across North America.

You will drive SLA performance, knowledge content, and cross-functional partnerships with HR Tech and Analytics. The role reports into the Global People Support Services Leader and requires strong leadership, stakeholder management,

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading HR operations across regions.
• Proven ability to design SLAs, KPIs, and SOPs and drive performance with data.
• Experience with HR systems, case management, and workflow tools.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management across geographies.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR or equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage regional People Operations capacity and coverage.
• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operational processes including hiring, changes, benefits, and exits.
• Define scope, processes, controls, and knowledge content for new services.
• Design and assess benchmarks, SLAs, and operating standards.
• Maintain HR knowledge bases and partner with HR to ensure content is current.
• Collaborate with HR Technology, Data & Analytics, and global Ops to standardize processes.
• Lead change activities when new work/tools are introduced.
• Oversee service recovery and address root causes.
