Making Science Group S.A. is seeking an experienced HR/People Ops professional to lead HRBP activities in the United States, with a focus on Chicago operations.

You will drive recruitment, payroll accuracy across multiple states, contract management, and culture initiatives in a fast-paced digital environment. You will collaborate with Global L&D and rely on SuccessFactors and ADP to ensure data integrity, compliance with FLSA/FMLA, and effective people programs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in HR/People Ops, with 2–3 years as an HRBP in a fast-paced tech/digital agency/consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of US federal and state labor laws (Illinois/Chicago).
• High proficiency in HRIS (SuccessFactors preferred) and payroll platforms (ADP).
• Bilingual or professional fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support recruitment process for US positions (Chicago, NY, Miami, etc.) and define profiles and candidate experience.
• Lead the monthly payroll cycle for all US employees with accurate tax withholdings and benefits deductions, and manage contracts and offer letters.
• Guard Making Science’s culture in the US and implement engagement initiatives aligned with global values.
• Coordinate with Global L&D to identify skill gaps and support career pathing for US employees.
• Maintain and update People systems (SAP SuccessFactors, IA tools) to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Serve as the primary contact for US labor law queries (FLSA, FMLA, state regulations) and ensure policies are up to date.
• Oversee Chicago office operations to maintain a productive, high-standard environment.
