Job summary

Mach9 Robotics Inc. is seeking a hands-on Operations/Chief of Staff to own day-to-day operations including people, workplace, IT, internal systems, and scalable infrastructure as the team grows from 25 to 60+.

You will partner with the Head of Business Operations and Finance to turn process gaps into repeatable systems and automate manual work. You will collaborate closely with outside counsel on immigration, employment, and compliance matters, ensuring operational excellence across the company.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in internal ops or chief-of-staff roles at high-growth startups, including Series A to Series C stages.
• Demonstrated ownership of internal systems implementations.
• Comfort with ambiguity and pace; thrives in a build environment without a written playbook.

Responsibilities

• People Operations: onboarding/off-boarding, immigration coordination with counsel, policy governance with employment counsel.
• Employee Experience and Workplace: manage SF office, facilities, vendor relations, and events to build culture.
• Operational Infrastructure: maintain SOPs, docs, and company wiki; identify and fix manual processes; plan scalable infrastructure.
