Chief AI is hiring a Chief of Staff & Business Operations Lead to build and run the operating engine of Chief AI. You will own business operations, partner with the CEO, and lead high-impact projects from start to finish.

You will shape an AI-native company, integrating agents and automations into core operations, finance, legal, and governance, with in-person work in San Francisco. You will work directly with leadership to accelerate growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of startup experience or highly-ownership environments.
• Operator at heart, takes initiative, owns problems end to end.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with senior customers (mayors, governors, CEOs).
• AI-native experience building agents and automations.

Responsibilities

• Run operating cadence: quarterly planning and weekly priorities.
• Own finance, legal, compliance, HR, including budget and contracts.
• Build a company brain: a shared system for customer context and processes.
• Turn CEO engagements into results with follow-ups and closures.
• Prepare for high-leverage moments, from conferences to fundraising.
• Own high-impact projects end to end (onboarding playbooks, events).
