Job summary

Mach9, a creator of AI CAD software for civil engineering, is hiring two Business Operations Associates to own core processes and help the company scale in San Francisco, CA. This is a hands-on, doer’s role reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Finance.

You will tackle finance, sales, customer support, revenue operations, and other operational areas, building dashboards, running recurring processes, and turning problems into automated solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in business operations, consulting, finance, strategy, or a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, finance, economics, engineering, CS, mathematics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven thinking.
• Bias toward action; ownership and execution mindset.
• Curiosity about AI and new tools; willingness to automate work.

Responsibilities

• Run recurring operating processes across order forms, quote-to-cash, billing, accounts receivable, variable compensation, customer setup, and customer operations.
• Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, OKRs, and analysis to improve decision-making.
• Turn ambiguous operating problems into concrete changes and drive solutions.
• Translate solutions into working processes with workflows, systems, documentation, controls, and recurring execution.
• Run manual or imperfect processes while identifying opportunities to simplify or automate.
• Provide general project management and problem-solving across the company.
