Job summary

myKaarma is seeking an experienced People Operations professional to own day-to-day HR operations for US and Canadian employees. You will manage payroll reviews, benefits administration, employee lifecycle workflows, HR systems, and policy administration, ensuring reliability and streamlined processes.

The role focuses on optimizing workflows, maintaining data accuracy, and educating employees on policies and benefits while partnering with leadership to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience independently managing HR operations across payroll review, benefits administration and employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding operations, including accurate records, documentation, system workflows and coordination with IT, managers and other partners.
• Administer employee benefits, enrollments, changes, eligibility records and employee questions; coordinate with brokers/providers to resolve issues.
• Review payroll inputs and outputs for accuracy and coordinate corrections before deadlines.
• Manage recurring HR compliance reviews and reporting (FLSA, minimum wage, California pay data reporting, EEO-1, Form 5500).
• Maintain policies, acknowledgments and employee-facing guidance; update as requirements change.
• Maintain and optimize HR workflows, data, reporting and controls; reduce manual work and catch errors.
• Create accessible information through documentation and benefits tips; keep leadership informed with updates.
• Coordinate routine workplace access, badges, and related employee logistics.
