Job summary

myKaarma, a leading SaaS platform for dealership service teams, is hiring an HR/People Operations professional in Long Beach (onsite 2 days a week) to own payroll reviews, benefits administration, and the employee lifecycle. You will optimize HRIS workflows, ensure compliance, and craft clear guidance for staff across US and Canada.

You will collaborate with leadership to maintain policy integrity, manage onboarding/offboarding, and improve processes with practical solutions.

Qualifications

Experience managing payroll, benefits and employee lifecycle independently.
Knowledge of US wage-and-hour laws and FLSA classifications.
Experience administering an HRIS and improving workflows.
Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
Ability to work onsite two days per week in Long Beach or Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

Own onboarding and offboarding operations, including documentation and coordination with IT and managers.
Administer employee benefits, enrollments, changes and broker coordination.
Review payroll inputs/outputs for accuracy and coordinate corrections.
Manage HR compliance reviews, audits and reporting (FLSA, minimum wage, EEO-1, Form 5500).
Maintain policies, acknowledgments and employee guidance; update as needed.
Maintain Rippling workflows and data accuracy; reduce manual work.
Create clear documentation and helpful benefits guidance for employees.
Keep leadership informed with concise updates and proactive issue escalation.
Coordinate workplace access and badges.
