Metropolis is hiring a Manager, People Solutions to lead the Central People Operations function, mentor a team, and drive automation and data-driven insights across Payroll, HR, Legal, and Field Leadership. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, audits, and strategic improvements.

The position emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a data-driven approach to optimize processing and escalation management within a rapidly growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or Shared Services.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Hands-on expertise with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, or ADP.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, HR, Legal, Benefits, and Field Leadership on complex transactions and escalations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, refine, and maintain SOPs and daily schedules for high-quality service.
• Oversee HRIS data accuracy across employee lifecycle changes with an audit framework.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives to improve turnaround times and efficiency.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex employee transactional issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Legal, Risk, and Field Leadership on priorities.
• Analyze field-level error patterns and drive corrective actions with Field Leadership.
• Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to the Director, People Operations.
• Manage and coach a team of People Solutions Coordinators and monitor SLA performance.
• Foster an inclusive culture with transparent communication and feedback systems.
• Lead large operational projects end-to-end and establish cross-training to avoid single points of failure.
