Job summary

R3 Lithium is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle at our Covington, GA facility. You will work with a lean HR team to manage onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, performance management, and engagement.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of broad Human Resources experience in startup, growing organization, corporate, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting multiple HR areas and independently managing day-to-day HR responsibilities.
• Comfortable in a lean HR environment with evolving responsibilities.
• Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; Rippling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a go-to HR resource for employees and managers, guiding on HR programs and policies.
• Manage onboarding, changes, leaves, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Lead new hire orientation and ensure understanding of policies, benefits, culture, and expectations.
• Support payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Assist with benefits administration and enrollment questions.
• Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS and other systems.
• Assist with recruiting, including job postings and interview coordination.
• Support employee relations matters and document issues.
• Assist with performance management processes and training.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company communications.
• Assist with HR compliance activities and reporting.
• Review and maintain HR policies, SOPs, templates, and documents.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data.
• Collaborate with managers to identify needs and improve HR processes.
• Support special projects as the company grows.
