Job summary

R3 Lithium in Covington, GA is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle. In a lean, fast-growing team, you will handle onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, employee relations, compliance, performance management, recruiting, and engagement.

You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, coordinate orientations, maintain data integrity, and contribute to policy development and reporting as the company builds its HR infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of broad HR experience, preferably in startup or manufacturing.
• Experience supporting multiple HR areas and handling confidential information.
• Able to thrive in a lean, evolving environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a go-to HR resource for employees and managers, guiding programs, policies and day-to-day needs.
• Manage onboarding, changes, leaves, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure policy, benefits, culture and expectations are understood.
• Support payroll administration and ensure timely processing.
• Support benefits administration and enrollment questions.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and documentation.
• Assist with recruiting and pre-employment processes as needed.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and development documentation.
• Assist with engagement initiatives, communications and recognition programs.
• Ensure HR compliance and related reporting and notices.
• Review and maintain HR policies, SOPs, templates and guidance.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data.
• Collaborate with managers to identify needs and improve HR processes.
• Support special HR projects as the company grows.
