Job summary

R3 Lithium in Covington, GA is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, advising managers and employees across onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, performance management, recruiting, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of broad HR experience in startup, growth, corporate, or manufacturing settings.
• Experience supporting multiple HR areas and independently managing day-to-day responsibilities.
• Able to adapt in a lean HR environment with evolving responsibilities.
• Strong discretion handling sensitive information; excellent judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; build relationships at all levels.
• Proficient with HRIS systems and MS Office; Rippling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a go-to HR resource for employees and managers and provide guidance on HR programs, policies, and processes.
• Manage lifecycle activities: onboarding, changes, leaves, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Coordinate and lead new hire orientation and ensure policy, benefits, and culture understanding.
• Support payroll administration and ensure timely processing of changes and deductions.
• Support benefits administration and respond to enrollment questions and life events.
• Maintain accurate HR data in the HRIS and other systems, with data integrity.
• Assist with recruiting, postings, interviews, offers, and pre-employment steps.
• Support employee relations by addressing questions, documenting issues, and partnering with leadership.
• Assist performance management and employee development processes.
• Support engagement initiatives, communications, recognition programs, and culture.
• Ensure HR compliance with records, I-9s, notices, and laws.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, templates, and documentation.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics; assist with compensation analyses.
• Collaborate with managers to identify needs and improve HR processes.
