Job summary

Nexthop Systems Inc. is seeking a driven People Operations Generalist to help keep our People team running smoothly as we build the next generation of AI infrastructure and high-performance networking systems.

Location: Santa Clara, CA. You will support onboarding, candidate experience, and data accuracy, collaborating with People, Recruiting, IT, Finance, and hiring managers to keep processes moving efficiently and securely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in HR/People Operations or related role.
• Experience supporting onboarding and lifecycle processes.
• Exposure to recruiting coordination or candidate sourcing.
• Experience with an HRIS and/or ATS, and comfort learning new tools.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Coordinate recruiting, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
• Source candidates via job boards, networks, and university channels.
• Support campus recruiting, career fairs, and event logistics.
• Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in HR systems.
• Serve as first point of contact for People policies and processes.
