Job summary

Samba is seeking a People Operations Generalist to drive the operational backbone of our People & Culture team, handling onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, HR documentation, HRIS reporting, and compliance support.

You will partner with HR leadership to maintain accurate employee records, support HR processes, and ensure HR systems and programs run efficiently, delivering a seamless employee experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in HR/People Operations with lifecycle focus.
• Experience with HRIS (Rippling/Workday/BambooHR) and reporting.
• Ability to navigate HR data in Google Sheets and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation management.
• Assist with benefits administration, payroll coordination, and data updates.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate basic HR reports.
• Coordinate immigration and visa documentation tracking with external counsel.
• Answer routine HR inquiries with clear guidance on policies.
