Meijer in Michigan invites an enthusiastic Human Resources Representative to join our White Lake Twp store team. You’ll recruit top talent, foster a positive work culture and ensure staff have the support they need to succeed in a dynamic retail environment.

The role focuses on staffing, onboarding, employee relations and talent development, partnering with store leadership and the regional HR team to drive engagement, compliance and growth. Onsite only with career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalency required; associate degree in HR preferred.
• Ability to present thought leadership and be approachable.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of leading groups.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Schedule flexibility when business needs exist.
• Demonstrate confidentiality and trust.

Responsabilités

• Assist staffing, interviews and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles in-store.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Promote engagement through HR initiatives and programs.
• Ensure clear communication to all team members and leadership.
• Support talent management, development, and performance processes.
• Provide guidance on career development resources and development plans.
• Consult with leadership on employee relations and policy matters.
• Assist investigations and resolve employee concerns.
• Provide HR support on policies, compensation, payroll, benefits and disability management.
• Support HR Market Managers with projects as needed.
