Meijer in White Lake Township, MI is seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources Representative to join our team as an on-site HR Generalist I/II or SR. HR Generalist. You will recruit top talent, support staffing and onboarding, and champion a positive work culture across the store.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HR, strong ER and investigations experience, and proficiency with HRIS/ATS. We offer weekly pay, parental leave and education assistance as part of Meijer's rewards program.

Qualifikationen

• High School or equivalency required.
• Associate Degree or above in Human Resources preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Aufgaben

• Assist with staffing, interview and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles and manage the applicant tracking system.
• Oversee orientation, onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Champions engagement through HR initiatives (mTeam, mCulture, mPerformance).
• Ensure effective communication to all team members and leadership.
• Support talent management, development, and total rewards processes and programs.
• Provide guidance on career development resources and track development plans.
• Provide consultation to leadership on employee relations, disciplinary actions and EEO matters.
• Assist with investigation and resolution of employee complaints or policy violations.
• Assist with policies covering employee relations, compensation and payroll, benefits administration, talent development.
• Support HR Market Managers with projects.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
