Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a People Operations Generalist to join the People Team in our Santa Monica office. You will support onboarding, performance cycles, communications, and program improvements while maintaining accurate HR data in Workday.

You will use AI tools to optimize workflows and generate reports, collaborating with HRIS and cross-functional partners to deliver a seamless employee experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core HR processes and employee lifecycle practices.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Workday or comparable HR system.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, performance and promotion cycles, communications and team member support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and experience of People programs.
• Maintain accurate employee and program data in Workday and related systems in partnership with HRIS.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports, including headcount, new hires, promotions, and departures.
• Respond to operational inquiries and route matters to the appropriate People partner.
• Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and follow People processes and compliance guidance.
• Utilize AI tools to optimize workflows and increase efficiency in People Operations processes.
• Support change communications and adoption activities for new or updated People programs.
