GC AI is building a scalable People Operations function in a fast-growing environment. You will own employee records, HRIS data, PTO administration, and I-9 compliance, ensuring a smooth onboarding to last-day offboarding for a rapidly expanding team.

This builder role emphasizes creating repeatable workflows, auditing data integrity, and driving engagement through initiatives. You’ll collaborate across the People team and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency while protecting confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR, People Operations, or HR coordination experience.
• Experience using an HRIS and managing confidential employee records.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
• Administer PTO requests and balances under company policy, resolving discrepancies and coordinating with employees and managers.
• Manage Form I-9 verification and related compliance documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, including documentation, system access, orientation, and first-day logistics.
• Support employee offboarding and exit procedures.
• Respond to routine employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and People processes.
• Conduct periodic HRIS and personnel-file audits and prepare basic workforce reports.
• Assist with employee engagement programs and People Operations initiatives.
• Improve and automate HR workflows using AI and other tools.
• Handle sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality.
