Job summary

Carson Group in Omaha, NE is seeking an HR/Benefits Operations professional to support benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS configuration. You will ensure data integrity across HR systems, coordinate with carriers and vendors, and help optimize processes to deliver accurate, timely HR services.

You will work hybrid in Omaha, collaborating with internal partners and external vendors, handling payroll-related item reviews and compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA and state leave

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in HR or benefits operations.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits carrier systems.
• Proficiency in data auditing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA compliance.
• Intermediate Excel or reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration of benefits programs.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors for enrollments and changes.
• Administer employee leave programs and track status.
• Support HRIS configuration and testing; generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR, benefits, and leave inquiries.
