Brookfield Asset Management Inc is seeking a highly motivated Associate, Human Resources for the Private Wealth business in New York. You will support the HR function across the employee lifecycle, collaborating with the Senior HRBP to provide high-touch, compliant services in a performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, talent acquisition, visas, and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of progressive HR experience; financial services or professional services preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compensation fundamentals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions.
• Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws.
• Maintain up-to-date employee handbooks and policies.
• Support annual performance reviews and development.
• Assist in compensation reviews and benchmarking.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for staff.
• Assist with visa processes and immigration compliance.
• Maintain HRIS data and participate in cross-functional HR initiatives.
