Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management seeks a highly motivated Associate, Human Resources, to support the HR function for the Brookfield Private Wealth business. Working with the Senior HR Business Partner, you will handle the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring HR best practices and compliance in a fast‑paced environment.

The role covers employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, and immigration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3–4 years of progressive HR experience; financial services or professional services preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compensation fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, ensuring HR compliance.
• Support the annual performance review process and identify development needs.
• Assist with compensation reviews, benchmarking, and benefits administration.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including visas and immigration tracking.
• Maintain HRIS systems and employee records; participate in HR initiatives.
