Job summary

PAI, based in White Bear Lake, MN, is seeking a Recruiter & HR Assistant to be the friendly first point of contact for our HR department and to help keep staffing strong.

The role involves recruiting for Direct Support Professional positions, managing postings on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and paimn.org; coordinating interviews; onboarding; benefits administration; compliance; and HRIS with UKG; Monday–Friday daytime schedule; dog-friendly policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in recruiting or HR-related role.
• Able to handle multiple open roles in a fast-paced setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS/UKG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting for DSP and other roles.
• Post and manage job openings on multiple platforms.
• Build candidate pipelines and screen applicants.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruiting metrics.
• Onboard new employees and support onboarding documents.
• Assist benefits administration and open enrollment.
