Job summary

Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Commerce, GA. You will be the face of the brand for growing families, greeting customers, and guiding them through our baby essentials and school readiness products.

You’ll foster an inclusive team, coach staff to meet standards, and drive sales through KPI analysis and effective merchandising. This role supports the Store Manager and develops a high‑performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while maintaining service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and communicate KPIs to improve results with the team.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruitment, training, and development of the store team.
