Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations and develop a strong, engaged team. You will ensure fast, friendly service and quality food, while maintaining health and safety standards and controlling labor and inventory costs.

The role requires at least 1 year in restaurant/retail, plus experience in sales-building, P&L, recruiting, and training. A ServeSafe certification and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position, minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certification is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Deliver great food and a friendly guest experience.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage scheduling, labor, and inventory controls to meet targets.
• Consult and coach Team Members to support growth and development.
