Border Foods LLC in Blaine, MN is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, uphold our CORE values, and build a strong team that delivers fast, friendly service.

You will manage the restaurant end-to-end, drive sales, ensure food safety, and coach team members. This non-exempt role requires flexibility, a minimum of 50 hours per week, and a ServeSafe certification. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate the restaurant end-to-end and build a strong team.
• Provide customers with great food and a friendly experience.
• Lead, coach, and train team members to meet core values and standards.
• Monitor cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and that staff comply with regulations.
