Carter Lumber in Charleston, SC seeks an Inside Sales Rep to be the face of the store and a primary customer service contact. You will assist customers, share product information, and help with project estimates and transactions.

Responsibilities include following up on online quotes, cold-calling to qualify new leads, supporting Outside Sales Reps, and helping with inventory control. Training on products and POS will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to meet sales and profit goals.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers who walk in the store and provide product information.
• Advise on project needs, prepare estimates, and process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes and qualify new leads via cold calling.
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed and assist in inventory control.
• Participate in cycle counts and resolve overages/shortages.
