Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver strong customer service, and support team development at our Savannah location.

You will assist with merchandising, opening and closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time role requiring reliable performance and leadership by example.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform demanding physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner with questions or concerns.
• Support merchandising and stock organization including deliveries and seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates to maintain a welcoming environment.
