Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations in a people-first environment. You will reinforce core values, manage a full-day operation, build a strong team, and ensure customers receive great food and a friendly experience.

The role emphasizes accountability, integrity, teamwork, and empowerment, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within a supportive culture. Eligibility includes a minimum 50-hour work week and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year restaurant or retail experience preferred.
• Experience with sales building and P&L statements is a plus.
• Proven track record of hiring and retaining staff.
• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; 50+ hours per week required.
• ServeSafe Certified; minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and lead a strong team to provide fast, friendly service.
• Ensure health and safety standards and food quality are met.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and inventory controls.
• Handle customer issues professionally and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Support training and development of team members and shifts.
