Job summary

Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Minneapolis location. You will oversee restaurant operations, guide a strong team, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment while delivering great food and a friendly guest experience.

You will model Border Foods core values—Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork and Empowerment—and drive results through effective scheduling, coaching, and daily supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Must be able to work early morning, evenings, weekends and some holidays; schedule may vary.
• Non-exempt management role expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and a friendly experience.
• Lead scheduling, coaching, and daily supervision to meet standards and expectations.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with policies.
