Job summary

BTS Group in the United States is seeking an HR coordinator to serve as the front line for our People Experience team. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, handling onboarding, offboarding, leave management, HRIS data, and employee communications with empathy and clarity.

You will collaborate with the PX Business Partner, Payroll and Benefits experts, Recruiting, and IT to implement new HR processes as BTS transitions to a new HR system.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in HR, administration, or another role that involves tracking and records.
• Hands-on HRIS experience entering, updating, auditing, and reporting on employee records in a system such as Rippling or similar.
• Warm, approachable, and patient communication style, and clear, professional writing.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort checking your own work.
• Discretion with confidential information, including medical and compensation data.
• Good judgment about when to ask for help.
• Comfort learning new systems quickly and adapting as processes change.

Responsibilities

• Front-line employee support and serve as the first point of contact for employees questions, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic responses.
• Triage and elevate sensitive or complex matters to the People Experience Business Partner.
• Maintain and improve self-service resources, FAQs, and templates, and flag recurring questions to improve processes.
• Involvement in onboarding and offboarding processes and manage logistics of employee transitions including equipment returns and communications with IT, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Coordinate leave paperwork and verifications; monitor leave and PTO data for accuracy and compliance; maintain LOA dashboard.
• Support employment compliance, regulatory requirements, and required reporting; draft, update, and publish policies and procedures.
