Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland Inc. is seeking a collaborative People Experience Partner to serve as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of departments and health centers across Maryland.

The role focuses on translating HR strategies into day-to-day practices throughout the employee lifecycle in a multi-site healthcare setting. Reporting to the Vice President of HR, you will lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in People Experience/People Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certification is a plus.
• HR experience in healthcare, multi-unit or nonprofit settings preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and Maryland employment laws and union/cba considerations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary People Experience contact for assigned health centers and teams, partnering with managers on workforce plans and policies.
• Lead recruitment coordination, onboarding experiences, and hiring transactions for new hires.
• Guide managers through performance reviews, coaching, and employee relations intake.
• Administer benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and leave requests with payroll coordination.
• Support dashboards, workforce metrics, payroll auditing, and accreditation/healthcare compliance.
