Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland seeks an Area Manager – Health Center Operations to lead operational performance across Maryland health centers, including Annapolis, Waldorf, Easton, and Telehealth. You will coach Health Center Managers, ensure patient-centered care, and drive access and quality while meeting financial goals.

The role requires five+ years of healthcare leadership, mastery of ambulatory operations, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; Master’s preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations
• Minimum of three (3) years directly supervising healthcare leaders or multi-site ambulatory/clinic operations
• Deep understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations, financial/budget management, regulatory compliance (OSHA, Title X, Medicaid)
• Proficiency with data analytics to evaluate clinical productivity and financial trends
• Active CPR certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance across health centers in Annapolis, Waldorf, Easton, and Telehealth
• Directly hire, onboard, manage, and develop Health Center Managers with performance reviews
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and budget variances; support revenue cycle performance
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Title X, Medicaid/Medicare, and accreditation standards
• Promote patient-centered care and guide service recovery across locations
• Support organizational growth and community partnerships; travel regularly across Maryland
• Travel between multiple health centers with 80% on-site and 20% remote cadence
