Job summary

Freeman Health System in Northwest Arkansas is seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to enhance the employee experience by planning, coordinating and executing events and recognition programs aligned with company goals.

This role oversees end-to-end event logistics, budgeting, vendor coordination, communications, and on-site support, while leading recognition initiatives and supporting onboarding and internal communications across HR functions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) including generating reports and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of employee engagement and organizational events.
• Manage timelines, budgets, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
• Coordinate event elements such as venue, catering, AV, decor, registration, and communications.
• Monitor event success through data tracking and post-event evaluations.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead employee recognition and rewards programs and coordinate awards processes.
• Support onboarding, internal communications, and career development initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional HR support and liaise with external partners.
