Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX seeks an Employee Engagement Coordinator to support the Employee Engagement team and foster a great workplace. You will coordinate events, recognition programs, and employee experiences aligned with our culture.

The role requires passion for workplace happiness, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives with professionalism. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization skills are necessary.
• Ability to multi-task and ensure staff/materials are available for events.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite or related software.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s license and current proof of vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility's mission, vision, and values in services and practice.
• Provide support and coordinate various Employee Engagement events.
• Oversees the Employee Volunteer Program and the DHR Volunteer Program.
• Recruit employee volunteers for events and serve as Team Captain for various events.
• Assist with development and implementation of ongoing programs.
• Assist in planning employee internal and community outreach events.
• Maintain and continuously update internal communication website.
• Oversees and executes hospital wide employee perks.
• Assist with the Shop at Renaissance sales and inventory control.
• Answer the telephone, take messages, and make notification calls.
• Performs interdepartmental offsite errands as needed in preparation of events/activities.
• Participates in projects led by the Employee Engagement team as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
