Job summary

Harris is seeking a Human Capital + Payroll Analyst to manage employee data, timekeeping, and weekly payroll activities across Human Capital, Payroll, Operations, and Accounting. You will work in Workday and help resolve issues before they impact employees, while building knowledge of wage requirements and union payroll processes.

The role involves processing lifecycle transactions, reviewing payroll data, and providing support across onboarding and payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handling confidential Human Capital, payroll, or employee data.
• Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes and HR systems.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to interpret union agreements, wage requirements, and payroll policies.
• Detail-oriented with data accuracy and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Process employee lifecycle transactions in Workday (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
• Review timecards, wage, union, and payroll data for weekly processing.
• Research union agreements and wage requirements to ensure compliant payroll.
• Respond to employee/leader questions and resolve discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate employee records and provide onboarding/payroll support as needed.
