Job summary

EVERSANA is seeking a People Specialist in Memphis, TN to perform HR duties including employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, payroll and benefits support, recruitment, and compliance for a specific location.

The role requires at least 2 years in HR, an associate degree (bachelor preferred), and strong communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills. On-site work schedule is 40 hours weekly, with a diverse and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources
• Experience handling employee matters in an hourly work environment
• Associate-level degree, preferably in management or HR
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the direct HR manager to understand business needs and how People Specialist supports them
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
• Attends and leads employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• Maintains knowledge of employment laws and ensures compliance
• Maintains confidentiality of employee information and issues
• Recommends HR process improvements using data and logic
• Collaborates with Payroll and HR team on initiatives and projects
• Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
