Job summary

POWER CENTER ACADEMY MIDDLE - SOUTHEAST is seeking an HR & Executive Operations Specialist to partner with our CHRO in running a high-functioning HR department at a Memphis campus. You will manage recruitment coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, HR reporting in Paycom, payroll support, and confidential document handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• PHR/SHRM-CP or higher preferred, or commitment to earning one.
• 2-4 years in HR, office management, or HR/administrative support.
• Charter school or education experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CHRO to map daily priorities, actions, and deadlines.
• Post roles, manage applicant flow, conduct screenings, schedule interviews, and prepare offer letters.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions, enroll benefits, and ensure required documentation.
• Generate HR reports, track KPIs, and assist with data analysis.
• Review payroll runs in Paycom for accuracy and assist with corrections.
• Maintain confidential employee files and manage contracts.
• Draft letters, memos, and announcements using AI tools to speed up messaging.
• Screen visitors, support scheduling, and anticipate CHRO needs.
