Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator based onsite in Long Beach, CA. You’ll support HR functions, onboarding, records management, and employee engagement while helping ensure smooth operations across the People & Culture team.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in HR or office administration, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information. This role includes events, onboarding, and coordinating day-to-day HR tasks with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of HR or office admin experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide general HR guidance and support to employees and managers.
• Onboard new hires and conduct orientation sessions.
• Maintain personnel files and HRIS data with confidentiality.
• Assist with employee communications and documentation.
• Support event planning and departmental initiatives.
