Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA seeks an HRIS Analyst I to support Workday HCM and ADP payroll. You will analyze HR data, generate reports, and implement improvements across HR systems with collaboration across HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT.

You will help ensure data accuracy, assist with system testing, and document technical specifications while providing reliable HRIS solutions to multiple departments around the globe. Onsite work with periodic extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience is required.
• Knowledge of business requirements gathering and solution delivery.
• Technical background with HR, recruitment, payroll, and collaboration tools within Workday.
• Exposure to HRIS-related documentation, including solution documents and technical/functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HR systems, collaborating with HR, Finance, EIS, IT, and vendors.
• Develop, configure, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to provide key data and business insights.
• Assist with opportunities for process automation and optimization to drive business outcomes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated applications through analysis, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Assist with system tests, respond to user reports, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
